Learning Target: I can use the facts about triangles to solve triangles.

Success Criteria: I know the Pythagorean theorem. I know that there are 180 degrees in a triangle. I know SOHCAHTOA. I can use the above facts to solve a triangle.

Direct Instruction: I will teach SOHCAHTOA with examples.

Guided Practice: Students will work to complete a series of triangles that are missing sides or angles using SOHCAHTOA

Independent Practice: Students will complete problems independently and then pair share.

Assessment: The teacher will informally assess by moving around the room.
