I know the conjugation of the verb etre:
I know the meanings of 30+ adjectives.
I can make adejectives agree.


Introduction/Connection: Les Consignes - Teacher will "yell", students will try to follow. Simon says too! We'll do a written proficiency check.


DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

Review/warm-up our adjectives - meanings, gender, pronunciation - from side #1 of vocab list - see attached. We'll practice generating the new words and using them in different situations. ex. Il n'est pas sale; il est _________.

We'll add definitions and practice pronuncations for adjectives on the back side of notes. We'll practice and demonstrate fluency in pronouncing both the masculine and feminine forms.

We'll take notes on femininzing and pluralizing an adjective.

We'll practice femininzing and pluralizing all adjectives
We'll use some slides from the attached powerpoint.
