Thank you to everyone for an awesome band card blitz weekend! We will let everyone know how we did as soon as everything is counted. But it appears that it has been an overwhelming success. Thank you to all of the students for doing a fantastic job representing the band and school!
Reminder - Parents who signed up for Med Tent 2nd shift for Tuesdays - the end time is now 6:40. Please contact David Anderson at 410-206-2713 or Mary Barnes at 912-571-5640
This week we will have our first home game of the year. We will be adding pregame and 2nd movement this week! Attendance matters!
Things to remember:
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals are required. Be on time! Last week I posted an early dismissal time and I honored it. This week and forward our schedule will be as indicated at the beginning of the year.
Tuesday
(3:50PM - 6:40PM)

Remember that attendance is strictly recorded and absences will reduce your grades as well as impact other aspects of your participation! If you have an emergency please follow the instructions/complete this Google form.

Band Shoes:
Another reminder to protect your shoes and use your lockers. We will not replace lost or misplaced items and all your items look alike! Locks are available at your request but you must use them if you get one.
Remember to use the Thursday Band Study Hall Google Form only if you intend for your child to stay after school on Thursday prior to rehearsal.

Game Day:
Remember that students may choose to stay after school in the band room or they can report by the report time below. Parent’s continue to discuss with your child your expectations for them for what they will be allowed to do after school and prior to the report time! Remember, if students go to eat they are expected to behave with the same respect and discipline we expect in the marching band.
We will again leave and return to the GA Band Room on Friday.
Following the trip students will be required to help unload equipment, clean up and then be dismissed by their section leaders. Parent’s this is the required process of every band member! This past week we were done with unloading the trailers within 15 minutes!
Be on the lookout in the BAND APP for any adjustments to departure and return times if necessary.
