sustain an informal conversation with a friend on an area in which I know the necessary vocab.

Success Criteria:

I know how to activate/draw on previously learned vocab and grammar.
I know how to incorporate newly learned vocab.
I can circomvent weaknesses!


Introduction/Connection:

We'll try a q&a both in writing and orally of our vocab

DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

We'll begin a review of the Passe Compose - let's put our brains together and write out a solid review - key terms, rules, etc. We'll check out the textbook explanation and decide where it falls short. We'll explore new verbs you've never seen and apply the rules and learn a few new past participles.

Students will complete written practice of the Passe Compose.

Students will use this skill to tell us about what they did this summer.
