Learning Targets: I can find the limit of a trigonometric expression. I can use the trig identities to simplify an expression involving trig.
Success Criteria: I can manipulate trig functions. I know the special trig half/double angle formulas & the pythagorean identities & the reciprocal identities.
Introduction/Connection: Remind students of their ability to manipulate trig functions last year.
Direct Instruction: Notes on Trig limits. Pair/Share a few trig limit problems.
Guided Practice: Students will pair share their solutions and questions on the assignment. Teacher observes.
Independent/Collaborative Practice/ Differentiation: Scaffolding during the lesson; Students work in pairs to complete a WS on trig limits. Finish for HW
