Standard: Limits

Learning Targets: I can find limits. 

Success Criteria: I can identify horizontal & vertical asymptotes. I can algebraically manipulate a function. I can graph a function and use the table. 

Introduction/Connection: This is review so we will review the different strategies for solving before beginning. 

Direct Instruction: Go over HW answer any questions. Finish discussion on limits at infinity. Direct instruction on limits at infinity. Students will work in pairs to complete the limits review packet before quiz #2  tomorrow.

Guided Practice: Students will pair share their solutions and questions on the assignment. Teacher observes.

Independent/Collaborative Practice/Differentiation: Scaffolding throughout lesson; pair/share; Teacher questioning

Summarizer/Check for Understanding: What is your strategy for finding a limit?

Literacy: Applications/enrichment during lesson

Assignment: Finish at least half of the questions in the limits review packet.
