Success Criteria:

I know how to conjugate the irregular verbs: etre, avoir, faire & aller + mettre!!!
I can use these verbs in conversation.
I can use these verbs to command/order someone to do something.


Introduction/Connection: How well did you do on your Big 4 Quiz?? Big 5 - practice quiz!

DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

Let's try a quizof our Big 5 irregular verbs (this includes the new verb Mettre)

We will begin our chapter on clothing -
We will learn 50 + terms to describe what people where. Nouns, adjectives and verbs.

Students will write a paragraph in French about what they are wearing. The paragraph should have a minimum of 5 sentences – describing 5 different items (example: shirt, jeans, shoes, accessories, jacket). Each item needs a description. Ex. Je porte une chemise blanche à rayures rouges. Je mets un jean noir et des baskets Nike en cuir.
