Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:
Describe what someone is wearing.
Read descriptions and "see" the image.

Success Criteria:

I know the meanings/spellings of 50 + clothing nouns.
I know appropriate descriptors to describe clothing.
I can build grammatically correct sentences to describe what someone is wearing.


Introduction/Connection:
We'll see and say our vocab words using props!
Know it or wear it!!

DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

Clothing Unit Vocabulary skills practice:

We'll work on reading and comprehending (using clothes & description).

We'll work on listening and comprehending (draw what you hear)

We'll work on creating and speaking- judge what you see - tell me all about it!

We will begin a WebQuest where you will be exploring the French site: Galaries Lafayette
