Unit 1: Introducing Oneself
Review of Lessons 1.1-1.12
ASL1.IP1 Students exchange simple information in the target language, utilizing cultural references where appropriate
ASL1.IP2 Students demonstrate skills necessary to sustain exchanges in the target language.
Students will:
Review vocabulary and phrases for greeting, asking and giving names, and expressing pleasure in meeting.
Review vocabulary for: gender, clothing, colors, shapes and numbers
Answer teacher’s questions
Practice numbers 1-15
Identify ten fingerspelled names

Classroom Station Review: Students will review for Unit 1 Test by rotating through five stations in the room that focus on specific skills.
Station 1: The Name Game (practice identifying classmates through signed descriptions)
Station 2: Vocabulary Review w/Go Fish game
Station 3: Number Review w/Concentration (matching) game
Station 4: The Fingerspelling Challenge (board game)
Station 5: Small group Q & A with Mrs. Baker (get direct tchr feedback)
Reminder of topics to study for tomorrow’s test.
Study for Unit 1 test on Friday.
