Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:
Describe what someone is wearing.
Read descriptions and "see" the image.

Success Criteria:

I know the meanings/spellings of 50 + clothing nouns.
I know appropriate descriptors to describe clothing.
I can build grammatically correct sentences to describe what someone is wearing.


Introduction/Connection: Qui est-ce - I'll describe a classmates clothing - you tell me who it is

DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

Vocab warm-ups - oral: we'll each describe an item from my 'ugly clothes bin'.
Written: we'll practice drawing and translating written descriptions.

Navigating a website in French - what skills/vocab words do we need (ex. basket = _____, check-out = ______). How would we find _________.


We'll go to our shopping site (Galerie Lafayette) to find our vocab in action. Task #1 - find 10 words from this chapter on the site - tell us the French and the English word. Task #2 - find 5 new words - what do they mean? Task # 3 - find 4 items that you really like and write down the French description


We'll begin to prepare for our Fashion Show
