Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:
Describe what someone is wearing.
Read descriptions and "see" the image.

Success Criteria:

I know the meanings/spellings of 50 + clothing nouns.
I know appropriate descriptors to describe clothing.
I can build grammatically correct sentences to describe what someone is wearing.


Introduction/Connection: Let's watch another "Look du Jour" - can we sound as cute???/ We'll write out our script then we'll get in our small group and practice saying it to the group - then we'll film ourselves saying it to the clas.


DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

Today we'll look more closely at the grammar involved in this unit:

1. Verbs - we'll review regular er, ir, re relevant verbs. Next we'll review the irregular verb "metttre. Last we'll check out the "in-between (spelling change) verb - acheter - how is it like a regular verb? How is it like an irregular??? Is it unique or are there others?

We will complete a written practice of all of these verbs.

2. Articles - what are they? Do they matter? How are French articles different than English articles (think agreement/gender). We'll make a big chart to include old articles (the, a, my) and new ones (this, that, which)

We will practice using the articles in conjunction with our verbs and vocabulary.


Homework - none
