Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:
Explain the differences between the Passe Compose and the Passe Simple

Success Criteria:
I am able (and speedy) at reading the Passe Simple.
I can "undo" the Passe Simple when needed to discuss a passage.


Introduction - Reading: Un Episode de la Guerre de 100 ans - your knowledge of the PS will make or break us here!

Direct Instruction-

We'll review the rules to the Passe Simple. We'll discuss the very real reasons of why we should even bother to learn this odd tense.

We'll practice writing in it, reading it and translating it out of the PS and into the PC. 3 skills we are going to need to excell!
