Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:

I can say hello and present myself in French to various people.
I can say Good-bye.
I can ask someone their name and tell them mine.
I can ask someone how they are doing and tell them how I am.

Success Criteria:

I know vocabulary needed.
I know how to pronounce our vocabulary.
I know how to use these expressions to create conversations.


Introduction/Connection:
Daily 10 - Today we will do slide # 10, & 11 - See: French I - Daily 10 powerpoint - attached below


DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

- We will review all of the vocabulary that we have learned so far: hellos, good-byes, asking/telling our names & asking/telling how we are doing. We will work on: 1. pronouncing each expression 2. recognizing each expression and 3. using each expression

- We will complete a written practice - see "french greetings worksheet" attached below.

- We will begin having mini conversations - 1st with neighbor, then the teacher

- We will create and perform a skit!

- We will review with a Kahoot!
