• I can calculate a z-score

• I can use z-scores to calculate the probability of an event

• I can determine if a data source is primary or secondary

• I can use measures of central tendency to analyze data.

• I know that a normal distribution is symmetric, single peaked and has no outliers

• I know that approximately 68% of data is 1 standard deviation away from the mean, 95% of data is 2 standard deviations away from the mean and nearly 100% of data is within 3 standard deviations of the mean

• I know the z-score formula

• I can use the TI-84 calculator to find cumulative probability density

• I can use the TI-84 calculator inverse cumulative probability density function to find a z-score 

• I can use the z-score formula to find an endpoint for an area of interest
