I know how to conjugate an ER verb.
I understand why and where I need a spelling change.
I accurately make spelling changes.

Introduction/Connection:
Regular Verb tests returned - the good, the bad, the really ugly.
What do we really need to hold on to with regular verbs?

Instruction:

What is a spelling change verb? How are they different than a regular ER ver?

We'll use a graphic organiser to take notes on the spelling changers.
