Course Name: Modified Physical Science

Monday

Standard(s): SPS5. Obtain, evaluate, and communicate information to compare and contrast the phases of matter as they relate to atomic and molecular motion.

a. Ask questions to compare and contrast models depicting the particle arrangement and motion in solids, liquids, gases, and plasmas.

LT: I am learning to compare and contrast the particle arrangement and motion in all four states of matter.

SC:

-I can name the four states of matter.

-I can draw or model the particle arrangement in solids, liquids, gases and plasma.

-I can describe or model the particle motion in solids, liquids, gases and plasma.

-I can compare and contrast particle arrangement and motion in all four states of matter.

-I can identify the different phases of matter (melting, freezing, sublimation, condensation, vaporization, deposition)

Lesson/Activity:

-Daily  10 Review Questions

-Heating and Cooling Curves Read and Answer to review
