-describe what people are doing (using IRREGULAR verbs).


Success Criteria:
I know the meanings of all of the French irregular verbs.
I can conjugate 20+ irregular French verbs


Introduction/Connection: Page 3 warm-ups

Lesson:
Our final verb conjugation test is Wednesday! Let's get ready!!!

Look over the conjugations from page 3 - then complete the "Epreuve des Verbes Irreguliers- Page 3". Go over answers together - write them on the board and agree on them!!!

Let's create a mind map of our irregulars. To do this start with a blank sheet of paper. Create categories for your verbs - examples "boots", "left/right verbs", weird "nous" middle consonants, weird "ils/elles" forms. Try to fit every verb from the blue sheets into at least one category - some show up in multiple categories. Compare your work with your neighbor.

Practice test #1 - please have someone post their answers on the board and discuss. On the back of your paper, write any you got wrong 5 times each.

Partner work. One partner uses their blue sheet to make a short sentence- example: I build or we fear. Partner tries to come up with it. Keep a list on the back of any that stump you. Study these!!!
