Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:

I can make a proper complex sentence using a Subject + Verb + Negation,adverb, or questions

Success Criteria:

I know my subject pronouns in French & ER verbs.
I know how to put them together correctly.
I can properly add negation to a sentence.
I can turn a sentence into a question.
I can add adverbs to my sentences

Introduction/Connection:
Can you fix this ugly sentence?? Explain what is wrong!


DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

We'll do a quick review of each piece of our sentences: subjects, verbs, negative, adverbs, and asking a question.

We'll take our chapter quiz

We'll go on to learn about ASKING QUESTIONS in French. We'll lay out the one we already know and try to establish patterns.


We'll learn the rules (formulas) and the relevant vocab (who, what, where, etc)

We will practice reading and understanding questions.
We will practice creating our own questions.
