Introduction/Connection:
Let's use our numbers for 1 last round of interviews - age, phone #, birthday

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

We'll learn what a COGNATE is and let the concept help us to guess/discover the meanings of 1,000s of French words.

We'll practice reading cognates as well as hearing them (cute video).

Intro-chapter vocabulary - how to say what we like/dislike
We'll take notes, practicing the meanings, pronunciations and usages of all vocab - see slides # 8- 13. If you are at home - please copy all French words down into your notes.

We'll practice reading these new expressions - see slide # 14
We'll practice talking about which we like/dislike.


We'll begin adding on new vocab - see slides #15-16
