Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:

I can demonstrate basic geographical knowledge and can make accurate assumptions about French culture based on this knowledge.

Success Criteria:
I know the name, location and relevance of each of France's external neighbors.
I know the name, location, relevance and description of each of France's mountain ranges and rivers.
I know how France is divided up.
I know the name, location, relevance and description of at least 5 provinces.
I know the name, location, relevance and description of at least 3 CITIES!!!

INTRODUCTION: Madame Henry will be out today. The Substitute will lead the class in a review of our Geography Unit.


DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

These guys will be preparing for the Unit Test on French Geography which is Tomorrow. Please encourage them to complete the following carefully:



1. Worksheet 1 : L’Hexagone. Encourage them to NOT use their notes until they have completely finished. They should consult their map and/or a friend before submitting their work.



2. Worksheet 2 : Examen de Geographie. This is a practice test for tomorrow’s Test. Same idea as above – please collect all work




3. Edpuzzle. Students will need laptops and headphones (on top of cart). They will find the link to the assignment in our Google Classroom.
