Success Criteria:

I know when to use it.
Introduction/Connection: Let's look over your quizzes from yesterday: most common errors - can you explain how/why these are incorrect: Elle ditait, Je se brossais
Direct Instruction:
Let's review when to use each of the 2 tenses - a volunteer will redraw pictures.
Then we'll practice our skills separately - 1. naming the tense 2. conjugating the same verb in both tenses
We'll complete a proficiency that asks us to do both.
We'll play a game in which students work as a team to answer a set of questions (using the skills above).
We'll read a story that is almost entirely written in the IMP. Can you imagine how and why?
