-I can understand and create the OTHER past tense - L'Imparfait

Success Criteria:
I know how to form it.
I know when to use it.


Introduction/Connection: How could vocabulary dictate your tense: Example - I always, one day, once upon a time?

Direct Instruction:

We'll learn new vocabulary (adverbs of time) that help "set our scene" and help us to correctly choose our tense.

We'll Practice using these vocab words in our own sentences (and translating some from last year).

We'll rewrite Cinderella in the Past TEnse in French

We'll start your story (first composition). We'll go over the expectations, hopes and rubric today. Brainstorm this weekend for ideas. Rough drafts will be due Friday.
