Standards: family, tener, asking and telling ages
Learning Targets: I can identify family members. I know what it means to conjugate a verb. I can say what people "have." I can conjugate "tener." I know what the five forms of "tener" are. I can ask and tell age.
Success Criteria: I will know I have it when I can construct at least 5 full Spanish sentences (per family member-- You will describe at least three) including family relationship, age of family member, eye color, hair color, height, and at least 3 other adjectives that describe the family member

Go over the verb TENER, conjugate into notes.

Complete a few pages of TENER packet
Using all gathered knowledge (Definite/Indefinite articles, some possessive adjectives, family vocabulary, Verb SER, Verb TENER, colors, etc) Construct at least 5 grammatically correct Spanish sentences per family member (You will describe at least 3 family members). You must include:
1. Family relationship & Name: (Mi madre se llama Elvira)
2. Age using TENER conjugation: (Mi madre tiene sesenta y dos años)
3. Hair color and eye color using TENER & Adjective agreement (Must agree in number and gender): (Mi madre tiene ojos verdes y tiene pelo cafe)
4. Heigh using adjectives and verb SER: (Ella es baja)
5. At least 3 other adjectives using Adjective Agreement and adjective vocabulary: (Mi madre es inteligente, delgada y divertida)
IF ENOUGH TIME: Begin Family Poster Project
Summarize: Ticket out the door: Tell me if you have siblings (Tengo/No tengo hermanos.)
Homework: memorize the forms of tener and what they mean. Family and TENER quiz next week.
