Introduction/Connection: Test reviews - the good/bad/ugly

Direct Instruction:

Let's work on your story! We'll review the expectations, check the rubric, discuss proper dos/don'ts. We'll read a quick example of each option.

We'll write out our outline.

Now we'll write the setting. Brainstorm the who: describe the characters, the where: describe the location, weather, season, etc., the what: why were they there. Most importantly, we'll write in French!!! ***remember it is all in the past- since we are describing the scene, which tense should these verbs be in??????

The expectation for today is at least the intro paragraph! If you finish early start your 1st body paragraph - this should be your ACTION paragraph (with a little description thrown in to keep it interesting).
