-I can understand and create the Literary past tense - Le Passe Simple.

Introduction/Connection: Name this story: Il trouva une lampe. Il devint Prince. La Princesse l'aima. Ils sauvent la Genie.

Direct Instruction:

Hopefully your essay is written. We'll do a last read through of every verb - did you choose correctly? Did you form it well?
We'll take another peek at the rubric - what are you being graded on most?

Type it!!!

Your essay is due before Friday at 3:30!!!!!!


We'll review the who, what, how and whys of the Passe Simple. We'll use it to write our own 4 sentence movie synopsis.

We'll try becoming "Literary Geniuses" and will write in the P.S.

We'll try recognizing it. - Game on kahoot!!!
