This past Sunday, members of Glynn Academy’s DECA chapter took part in the Pick Up the Park event, cleaning seven parks—three in Brunswick and four on St. Simons Island. Approximately 77 students spent the day working together in all locations to remove litter and clean up these public spaces, making a significant impact across the community.
The initiative reflected DECA’s commitment to both leadership and community service. Presidents organized members into teams to efficiently cover all seven locations, demonstrating their dedication to improving the environment while developing key skills such as teamwork and organization.
With the success of this event, Glynn Academy DECA is eager to continue their community service efforts throughout the year.
