GICCA to host three This Girl Can workshops in March

Looking for an exciting opportunity to learn about careers that are fun, engaging and educational? The Golden Isles College & Career Academy is hosting three workshops for girls in 8th and 9th grades and a special adult female (e.g. mom, grandmother, aunt and/or mentor) to explore non-traditional careers for young women. In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Glynn County Schools is gathering information about the ability of our students to continue learning at home in the coming school year.

Seay inks with Savannah State

Ryan Seay has been one of Glynn Academy’s leaders on the football team for three seasons. Along with his work ethic, that leadership mentality earned him a spot in Savannah State’s class of 2021.

Glynn boys edge Brunswick in City Championship

Trailing by double digits just minutes into the City Championship, the Glynn Academy boys abandoned their pregame defensive plan and clawed out a 51-49 victory over Brunswick High on Saturday at The Glass Palace.
