Star Student and Teacher
We are thrilled to announce that Annabelle Lee has been named the 2026 STAR Student for Glynn Academy!
The Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program honors Georgia's highest-achieving high school seniors. To secure this prestigious title, a student must achieve the highest score on the SAT in a single sitting and rank within the top 10% (or top 10 students) of their graduating class.
A key part of the STAR program is allowing the winning student to nominate a STAR Teacher, the educator who has had the most significant impact on their academic career. Annabelle has chosen Mrs. Hannah Styron for this special honor. This recognition speaks volumes about the dedication and inspiration Mrs. Styron provides in the classroom.
On February 17, the Brunswick Woman’s Club hosted a celebratory luncheon at the Heritage Oaks Golf Club to honor these outstanding individuals. It was a wonderful afternoon dedicated to celebrating hard work, intellectual curiosity, and the vital bond between students and their mentors.
