Caroline Sexton Named September Golden Rule Student of the Month

Caroline Sexton has been selected as the Golden Rule student of the month for September!
I am incredibly proud to nominate Caroline Sexton for the Golden Rule Award for demonstrating exceptional compassion, inclusivity, and deep empathy during our recent club sign-ups.
Joining a new group can be intimidating, especially for students who face unique challenges with communication. Recently, a student was feeling nervous and having a difficult time communicating their interest in joining a club. Sensing their frustration and hesitation, Caroline stepped in with incredible patience, warmth, and understanding.
Instead of rushing past, Caroline took the time to truly listen, adapt, and connect with the student on their own terms. She made sure the student felt completely heard, valued, and welcome. Thanks entirely to Caroline's gentle and insightful outreach, a peer who easily could have felt isolated was instead given a voice and a safe place to belong.
This act of mature leadership and pure kindness is the perfect embodiment of the Golden Rule. Caroline didn't just welcome a new member; she built a bridge of understanding that makes our school community a better place for everyone.
