Create a replica of an extant physical, theatre FROM ANCIENT GREECE or ROME! 


Find one physical, theatre that is extant today. 


Research it's physical qualities. Build what it looked like back then. Create 3D replica anyway, out of anything you have at home. (popsicle sticks, paper, play dough, legos anything you have.)


Take pictures of your theatre. Top view and side views from every side. Front, left, back, right. So that's 5 pictures. 


Write about it. State your research. Tell me the name of the theatre you chose. Talk about what the theatre started out as, how the theatre changed over the years and what is extant today. 


It's due Friday, but isn't late until after Sunday.


IF YOU COPY AND PASTE PICTURES/DIAGRAMS YOU FIND ONLINE, THAT IS CONSIDERED PLAGIARISM. 


If you are building your theatre digitally.

1. You have to build a digital model to scale. 
2. You  must find and list the the dimensions of every part of your extant theatre. 
3. You must then show the math in how you scaled down your digital version.
4. You must list your final scaled down measurements of every part of your digital theatre. 
5. You must have 5 representations, from the same views as the required pictures. Top view, front, back, right and left. 

Hi! 
I have gone through and numbered the Theatre History slides. These numbers are likely to be the questions I will ask on your exam later. So today, go through your Slides and be sure your questions match up with mine! You can even number them if you like so you know you're on the right track.  You should turn in 1-34. If your numbers are different than mine that's okay as long as you have more questions and not less. If you have less you need to fix yours to match mine. Let me know if you have questions! Attach your Slides and submit! Your final slide today should be about Thespis. Don't forget pictures that go along with the slides. You should have 15!

Add 10 more slides. The next 5 Questions and Answers from your Theatre History Study Guide.


Also, be sure, little by little you are adding pictures to go with some slides. You don't have to have one for every slide. But by now you should have 10 pictures. Make sure they make sense to the slide they are on. If they don't make sense it won't count. 

Edit your original Theatre History Notes Slides to add 5 more questions and then the 5 answers to those questions. That adds up to 10 total slides due today.

Keep your slides in the same order the Study Guide is in. If you went out of order yesterday, you DO NOT have to delete what you did. Just start as the top of the Study Guide and begin working your way down. :)

Create a Slides Presentation using Google Slides. Share it with me. 


Today you will create a title page. Include your name, class period and title of the slideshow. Add one picture. 


Create 3 question slides and 3 answer slides. Start at the top of the sheet and work your way to the bottom. 


So you will have 7 total slides by the end of the day today. Easy, Peasy!
