Due:
Included here is a step-by-step instruction packet (pdf) that will guide you through creating your own Atlantis, a city underwater. Your FINAL grade, however, will be based on the extension assignment in which you pick your own city to submerge at your discretion. So pretend to be Neptune/Poseidon and have fun!
More images to come in your stream or shared to your drive.

Due:
Continue on with same video to the 1:04:00 minute mark, learning about color correction via the Lumetri window as well as creating transitions. Do NOT do the social media part that he asks for!
Be prepared to answer a single question quiz tomorrow about the difference in two terms he speaks about!
As before, when you are finished, take a screen shot and turn that in to me. I should see the same basic shot in the window as well as the segments in the work area at the bottom and the applied transitions.

For your NEXT trick . . .
Welcome to Adobe Premiere Pro video editing software. The next unit of mini projects will teach you how to edit video for various occasions.
The first is, simply, Project 1. Follow along the attached video up to 25:00 (you may skip the little section about Premiere vs After Effects). Finish Project 1 and turn it in! I have shared files and video on your stream.
Push to the semester finish line has begun!

You have been hired by a music production company to create a web flyer for their upcoming choir competition, The Joyful Noise Choral Festival. You may use any of the images and clip-art I have shared with you for this project. In order to receive an "A", your project needs to include multiple images - or PORTIONS of them! - it must be pleasing to the eye, and contain all of the information provided. Making a logo and incorporating that would be a big bonus! After all, you want to be hired again for more money in the future, right?!?
This is a Project/Test grade!
Parameters:
1920 x 1080 pixels
Joyful Noise Choral Festival
June 9 - 11, 2019
Jekyll Island, GA
Registration: $300 per choir
website:joyfulnoise.com

Ok, guys. now you get to put some of your new-found skills to work!
I would like for you to compose a digital flyer. Pretend that this is YOUR business, and the best way for you to make some serious bank is for this flyer to be eye-catching, informative, and appealing to your adorning public. In order for this project to be successful (and be an "A" project), several things should be considered:
Size: 1920x1080 pixels
images to use: Find on Google (and use higher resolution photos)
Font: Feel free to download!
Type: Make sure your words are legible and stand out against the backround
Colors - LOTS
Special Effects: Explore and use "Layer Styles" to make your texts pop, along with such possibilities as using a "text path" or "warp text", etc.
Other - Maybe try such things as "Filter/Render/Lighting Effects". Experiment!
TIPS:
1. Keep pics, phrases, etc. on separate layers.
2. SAVE often
3. Use RULERS
4. Use "History" window.
WHEN YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH YOUR PROJECT:
1. SAVE
2. Layer/Flatten Image
3. SAVE AS and select "Photoshop PDF" or "JPEG" from the pulldown menu
4. Submit the pdf or jpeg, but keep the .psd image for corrections/improvements
THIS IS A PROJECT GRADE (double test grade)

Search online for an awesome template for us to use for our script! Preferably one that is "Plug-&-Play" where we can add dates, updates, events, etc. Find an award-winning school in broadcasting or the like and go from there!
The student who finds the one we use will earn extra credit and score a 110!
