You are responsible for contacting your partner (email may work the best for initial contact) and deciding who will be responsible for the rough and finished sketches.
* SEE REFERENCE MATERIAL
Partners must decide which partner is going to complete the rough draft and which one is going to complete the finished sketch. Both sketches must include: Case identifier (What case are you sketching), The sketch artist (that is you), Date, Time, Location Weather, Lighting, Identity and assignments of personnel present (your partner and whether they are doing the rough or finished sketch), Key or legend, Compass rose (Never Eat Soggy Waffles), and/or geographic orientation.
Rough Sketches use an overhead view, are and NOT drawn to scale but use accurate distances, and establish two fixed reference points (those are points that will not move=> Think buildings, trees, etc.)
Finished sketches are a precise rendering of the crime scene and are drawn to scale. They use the rough sketch to complete the finished sketch and rough sketches and are not completed at the crime scene.
