* Use the Google Slides
* Add an image to all of the facts provided for the Haitian timeline. If making your own timeline, use the Google doc to be able to cut and paste the evidence.
* Add a fact from your homework to the timeline
This assignment is in preparation for a Harkness discussion on Wednesday (12/8).
Possible topics to be discussed:
* Was the Haitian Revolution caused organically by a maroon revolt (Dutty Boukman) or Vincent Oge and the French Revolution?
* Was the 4th Phase of the Haitian Revolution caused by France (Napoleon) or Toussaint L'Ouverture declaring himself Governor for life?
* Were the tactics used during the 4th Phase of the Haitian Revolution justified (by both the French and the Haitians)?
* What are the most significant EFFECTS of the Haitian Revolution (short term or long term)?
