I can verify a trigonometric identity.

Success Criteria:

I can substitute one identity for its equivalent.

I can simplify complex fractions.

I can add/subtract fractions.

I can factor.

Introduction/Connection: 

Do now  -SAT/ACT Practice- students will answer multiple choice questions written in the SAT or ACT style – posted in Google Classroom

 

Connection – Geometric Proofs for congruent triangles

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

 I will answer questions from homework.

Students learning by doing/demonstrating learning expectations.  Describe the instructional process that will be used to engage the students in the work period.

GUIDED PRACTICE:

Students will continue to practice verifying trig identities by completing yellow Book p466 1,2,4-6,5,9,11-13,15-17,21
