I can perform operations with vectors.

I can use vectors to solve word problems.

I can find the trigonometric form of a complex number

I can plot a polar point of a polar coordinate plane.

I can convert from polar to rectangular form.

I can alternate representations of polar coordinates.

I can convert from rectangular to polar coordinates.

I can convert and equation in rectangular form to polar form.

I can convert a polar equation to a polar equation.

Success Criteria:

I can identify a polar point.

I can find an angle measure in standard position.

Introduction/Connection: 

Do now  -SAT/ACT Practice- students will answer multiple choice questions written in the SAT or ACT style – posted in Google Classroom

 

Connection – complex numbers in standard form

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

Answer questions about homework

Students learning by doing/demonstrating learning expectations.  Describe the instructional process that will be used to engage the students in the work period.

GUIDED PRACTICE:  

Students will be allowed to collaborate to find solutions to the unit Review

INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION:

 

Study for test

Scaffolding will be provided throughout the lesson.

Students may work in pairs or independently.

Detailed explanations of problems will be provided for students on Google Classroom.

SUMMARIZE/CHECK FOR UNDERSTANDING:

 

As students answer questions during the guided practice I will check for understanding by spot checking their work.
