Do the "When I am ..., I feel...." handout (attached)
After that, use your "foldables" to ask all the questions to a partner, and check there spoken answers. Make sure you ask ALL the questions, adn correct ALL the mistakes in their spoken answers. "Be" their teacher. Then switch roles.
FOOD PRACTICES: page 132 and 133 - aloud with a partner, SAY the SPANISH words and sentences all over both pages, and translate aloud as you go.
Once you have completed that, do the following Chapter 4 FOOD exercises, written into your notebooks, labeled by exercise:
page 131, exercise 6. (food vocab)
page 135 exercise 5 (practicing with question words)
page 156 - exercise 3 - rewrite the sentences with the new subjects in parenthesis, therefore changing the verb form to agree with the new subject.
page 157 - exercise 7. Write THREE (3) sentences that could be captions of each picture. (3 sentence PER PICTURE for a total of 9) Example: For picture,1, I could say, "El chico y su padre desayunan. El muchacho come tostado y bebe cafe. El padre está cansado." (DON'T use my example sentences. Make up others!!)
