Success Criteria:

  1. I can understand the importance of a good personality.
  2. I can answer questions honestly to determine my personality.
  3. I can analyze my personality. 
  4. I can use Google Doc to type an essay on my personality. 

Introduction/Connection: 

Terror Ten (Warm-up):   How does your personality type handle stress? Go to the attached article below and find out.  Write a paragraph response on your findings.  Personalities & Stress

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

Opening (I do): Introduction to personality.       

Work Period  (We Do, You Do)

Students learning by doing/demonstrating learning expectations.  Describe the instructional process that will be used to engage the students in the work period.

GUIDED PRACTICE:  

We Do: Discuss personality traits and how they affect career choices, success and failures.  

INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION:

You Do: Go to www.41q.com and take the personality quiz.  Using the results research and take notes on your personality type (ESTJ) using the Personality Page website. Format an MLA report on Microsoft Word.  Guided step-by-step instruction is given on how to format the report.

Describe the instructional process that will be used to close the lesson and check for student understanding .
