Daily 10: That Deaf Guy Comic- Read/discuss- What does today’s comic teach us about ASL?
Review: Category signs: letter, name, number, shape
Guided Practice/Modeling: You tell me: Same-as, Different, what?
Partner Practice- Students create 5 examples of pairs in each category and sign questions/dialogue with each other following prompt:
Q: Left right _______________________whq
SAME-AS, DIFFERENT “what”
SN 1.7 Notes: Deaf Culture- Ways of Communicating (Cloze Notes)
