Direct Instruction/Guided Practice:
In our google meet, we will:
check hw (Did you make your 31 flashcards?)
Look at the attached Textbook Pages Prelim Document, pages 14-16.
Repat the seasons on page 14 aloud.
Repeat the Weather Expressions on page 15, aloud
What does, "Qué tiempo hace?" mean?
Complete the exercises 1,2,4,5,6 on pages 14-15 aloud. (In ex. 6, "En qué estación" means "In what season.")
Play the Match Game WEATHER PRACTICE on the Quizlet link below.

On your own time, for extra practice, Listen and repeat all the expressions on the attached QUIZLET.
Homework: You will be graded for completion, but NOT be graded on artistic ability. On a piece of paper, write your name and class period. Then Illustrate 8-10 weather expressions from PAGE 1 of the attached "Weather Packet (or from page 15 of the attached textbook pages) and label each drawing in Spanish. (Examples 1 : For "It is cold," you might draw a picture of a snowman and label your drawing, "Hace Frío," Example 2: For "It is cool," maybe draw a thermometer hovering around 72 degrees , and label it "Hace fresco," ust an idea.) Do this for 8-10 of the weather expressions. You will hold them up in our next Google Meet to show me and the class. Write your expressions NEATLY so I can tell what you wrote. You can draw all 8-10 expressions on one sheet of paper.
