I know I’ve got it when I can answer questions about my extended family relationships: grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins, etc.
I know I’ve got it when I can use the manual alphabet hand shapes to create a story with a clear beginning, middle, and end.

Daily 10: Handshape Study- Letter O- How many signs/gestures can you think of that use this handshape? How can you incorporate this into your ABC story?

Family vocabulary/life events vocabulary- modeling with skits (students volunteer & act out events- vocabulary incorporated/reviewed).

(If time permits): SN 4.8 - workbook/DVD exercises- View exercises/answer questions & go over responses.

Review “ABC story” project. Students work independently on projects with teacher support for ideas/signs as needed. All students should have a topic chosen by the end of class today.
