I will factor the GCF of a polynomial.
Success Criteria:
I can identify and calculate the greatest common factor (GCF) of a polynomial in preparation for factoring quadratics.
Instructional Strategies:
Opening (I do): I will provide notes for students to take over factoring the GCF
Work Session (We do-You do): We will complete guided notes work problems
Closing (We check): Students will complete the attached assignment below.
Differentiation Strategies: Scaffolding throughout lesson and applications will be provided for rigor. Students will work with pairs at some points throughout the assignment.
Formative/Summative Assessment(s) (We check): Students will provide solutions to the class on the board the last 15 minutes.
