1/10 Greetings, Alphabet, Courtesy, Tú vs. Usted
Description (optional)
STANDARD: Basic conversation skills, alphabet recall, (tú vs. usted)

Learning Targets: I can ask for and give personal information. I can explain the difference between the two words for "YOU" - "tú" and "usted." I can use Spanish letters to spell words aloud.

Success Criteria: I can construct and express and 8-line conversation in Spanish with someone! I can ask, "How are you?" two ways: to a friend, and to an adult.

Intro Connection: Watch the video about when to use "tú" and when to use "usted," which both mean "you." ("tú" and "usted" both mean "YOU") https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZUhtgF4-nQ During video, check homework spelling of first and last name.
While watching video, write 2 situations when you would use the "INFORMAL "you" (tú), and two situations when you would use the FORMAL "you" (usted)
