Standards Addressed

MGSE9-12.G.CO.2  Represent transformations in the plane using transparencies; describe transformations as functions that take points in the plane as inputs and give other points as outputs.  Compare transformations that preserve distance and angle to those that do not.

MGSE9-12.G.CO.5 Given a geometric figure and a rotation, reflection, or translation, draw the transformed figure. Specify a sequence of transformations that will carry a given figure onto another.

I can identify rotations, reflections, translations, and dilations by:

     -graphing the transformation

     -writing a rule for the transformation

     -identifying the coordinates of the transformation

I can draw a composition of transformations by:

     -applying a transformation to a transformation
