NOTES: There are only 3 types of stem-changing verbs ( e-ie, o-ue, e-i)

Complete the first page of the o-ue practice packet (attached), putting the o-ue verbs into the boots. Also write down what each one means.

To the back of your “verbs wheel from last month (also attached if you lost yours), conjugate the following verbs around the wheel: pensar, cerrar, perder, poder, jugar

Today’s Laptop sites for o-ue, e-ie, e-i practices require that you know the following verbs, so let’s talk about them now.


Copy these into three columns your notes: e-ie: querer, perder, pensar, preferir, comenzar, empezar, entender, cerrar, merendar,

E-i stem-changers: repetir (to repeat) , pedir (to order) servir,(to serve) medir (to measure)

O-ue stem-changers: llover (to rain), poder (to be able to/can), dormir (to sleep), volver (to go back/return to), devolver (to give back/return something), almorzar (to eat lunch) encontrar (to find), recordar (to remember), costar (to cost), contar (to count), volar (to fly), resolver (to resolve), sentir (to feel), mostrar (to show), morir (to die), soñar (to dream)
