Day 2 Lesson Procedures, Greetings,
Standard: Basic Spanish Greetings
Learning Targets: What are Señora Fendig's classroom procedures? What are some ways to greet people, ask your name, and say farewell, with correct pronunciation?
Success Criteria: I will know I have it when I can ask and give my name, and pronounce the vowels in Spanish.

Daily Instruction/Guided Practice:

Intro Connection: (Daily Ten) Write a list of as many English ways to greet someone as you can. Examples: Hi, Hey, What's up

Take up hw (Benefits of learning Spanish)

Give out Bathroom passes (green pens)
Speaking Exercise: Around Room Spanish speaking: ¿Cómo te llamas? Me llamo ….

Finish classroom Rules and Procedures (attached)

Read Syllabus, sign for homework grade (parent guardian signs too)

remind: You need a 1.5 inch binder/paper/pencils

Listen to audio for textbook page 2
SPEAKING: Repetition of the greetings phrases from greetings packet page 1.

Last five minutes: Show Athens Nurse Clinic for UGA video about benefits of Spanish.
