Learning Targets:

I can greet and have a basic conversation in Spanish.
I can recognize cognates.
I can identify Spanish letters.I can spell my name aloud in Spanish.


Success Criteria:
I can greet and say farewells several different ways.
I can explain what a cognate is.
I can spell words aloud using Spanish letters.


Intro Connection: ALOUD with a partner, say the alphabet forwards AND backwards without writing it down!

Daily Instruction/Guided Practice:

Collect homework (parent signatures on syllabus)

GREETINGS WORK:
page 3 textbook AUDIO exercise 5 and 6.
Read page 4 through red #3.
greetings packet - repetitions of first page,
with partner, have this dialogue:
