Standards: camping vocabulary, preterite past tense endings (introduction)
Learning Targets: I can explain that one past tense in Spanish is called the PRETERITE TENSE.
Success Criteria: I know I have it when I can tell put the preterite tense endings into a chart form for AR,ER,IR verbs
Intro/Connection: Tell five things you DID yesterday: IC intro of preterite tense (Pretend you are a Bolivian teenager learning English for the first time, and your teacher says, "Today we are learning the past tense." What is the past tense for I say? I do? I see? I hear? I go? I know? I make? I lose?" It's tough to learn English past tense!!!! It's way easier to learn the past tense (preterite tense) in Spanish, because of PATTERNS!
