I know the proper vocabulary to discuss the date.


INTRODUCTION: Classroom tests returned and discussed


DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

Let's Review: telling the date. We'll need:days of the week, months of the year and the sentence structure the French use.

We'll try using a few kids' songs (videos linked in powerpoint). I have also linked the notes below.


We'll see if it's sinking in - try "date - days & months" practice quiz.


Then we'll review vocab from slides #8-9 and check your understanding by trying slides # 10 - 13


We'll try some written practice. See "date quiz" below
