Naviance & College Access
Glynn County Schools & Glynn Academy understands that many high school students plan to pursue higher education learning after high school and the the process can be quite complicated.
For this reason, Glynn County Schools has invested in a program called Naviance to act as a One-Stop-Shop for many of the College Access steps and processes involved in the pursuit of higher education learning. For students who know college is a necessary stop on their way to their professional goals, Naviance will provide the following college access supports:
- College Research & Match Tools
- Bridge communication between students & admissions representatives at prospective colleges
- Help students research, apply and securely send pertinent information to college admissions offices
- Help students request letters of recommendation from teachers and counselors and send them as necessary
- Help School Counselors support students by being able to monitor where students are in the college admissions process
