Driver's License Information

By law, Georgia teens under the age of 18 are required to successfully complete ADAP in order to obtain their Class D Georgia driver's license. (NOT the Learner's Permit) In most cases, students will complete ADAP through their high school Health Class.

For the latest information on Teen Drivers in Georgia, visit the Georgia Department of Driver
Services at https://dds.georgia.gov/teen-drivers

If you cannot find your ADAP certificate required for your permit or have not had a health class, there is an online (eADAP) course. Here is the link: Electronic Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (eADAP)

  • What if my child did not take the High School Health Class? Students that earn two (2) units of Marching Band, three (3) units of JROTC, or participate in two (2) seasons of a VARSITY level sport are exempt from taking Personal Fitness / Health in high school.  In order to get ADAP, they will need to take the online class called eADAP.  The total time required for the course is four (4) hours. Students will print out the certificate after successfully completing the course. Please click HERE for more information.

  • Do you provide Driver's Education? There is no driver's education course offered through Glynn County School System.
